Fish Hoek is a glorious bay with a beautiful white sandy beach! Fish Hoek Galley situated right on the beach offers a restaurant and take-aways and is a prime whale-watching site to view the Southern Right Whales when they are in the bay to calf between July and November.
Many tourist attractions are within comfortable and scenic driving distance. A popular tourist stop is Boulders Beach in Simons Town (15 min from Fish Hoek), because of the famous African Penguins. From just two breeding pairs in 1982, the penguin colony has grown to thousands of birds in recent years. Boardwalks take visitors to within a few meters of the birds!
If you continue south for about 30 minutes you will come to Cape Point. Outstanding beautiful!
